What We Do
Most people train hard and eat reasonably well but still don’t get the results they’re after. The reason is usually the same: they’re working off guesswork. At ENP, we replace the guesswork with data. Every service here gives you precise, individual information about how your body works, so your training and nutrition can actually be built around you.
Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR)
Most calorie targets are based on generic formulas. The problem is, those formulas can be off by hundreds of calories for a given individual. That means people are either eating too little and burning out, or eating too much and wondering why nothing is shifting.
RMR testing measures the exact number of calories your body burns at rest. That’s the foundation of any nutrition plan. Once you know your actual number, there’s no more estimating.
The test itself is straightforward. You sit or lie at a slight incline and breathe into a mask for about 15 minutes. The machine analyses your breath and produces your result.
Before you come:
- Test takes roughly 15 minutes
- No food or drink for 4 hours beforehand (water is fine)
- No exercise on the day of testing
VO2 Max
VO2 max is your aerobic ceiling. It’s the maximum amount of oxygen your body can use during exercise. Think of it as your engine size.
Testing it does two things. First, it identifies where your current limiters are, which shapes how we approach your training and nutrition going forward.
Second, it gives us your precise heart rate training zones, so every session has a clear purpose rather than just feeling hard.
If you’ve been training consistently but feel like you’re not progressing the way you should be, this test usually reveals why.
Before you come:
- Appointment lasts 45 to 60 minutes
- No stimulants within 4 hours, including tea, coffee and cigarettes
- No exercise on the day. Ideally none the day before either.
Online Coaching
Most people jump straight into training and nutrition without ever knowing what their body actually needs. We do things differently. Every coaching journey at ENP starts with testing. From there, we build a plan around your results. Then we hold you accountable until you get to where you want to be.
Test
We start by testing. RMR, VO2 max, body composition. This gives us your exact numbers: how many calories you burn, what your aerobic capacity is, and what your body is actually made up of. No guessing, no generic formulas.
Plan
Using your results, we build your programme from scratch. Training structured around your zones. Nutrition targets based on your actual metabolism. Everything built for your life, your schedule and your goal.
Result
This is where accountability comes in. Weekly check-ins to review your progress, adjust the plan and keep you on track. Direct WhatsApp support between sessions so nothing gets left until next week. You put in the work, we make sure it’s pointed in the right direction.

Body Composition
Weight on its own tells you very little. Two people can weigh exactly the same and have completely different body compositions, and need completely different approaches as a result.
Body composition testing measures your fat mass and lean mass separately, giving us the detail we need to build a nutrition strategy that’s actually relevant to you and your goal.
We use the InBody scanner, which uses bioelectrical impedance analysis to give a detailed breakdown of your body composition including fat mass, muscle mass and body water. It’s quick, non-invasive and gives you reliable data to work from.
